Scott Shafran has been helping individuals with their Medicare-related health insurance since 2010. First licensed in December 2009 (while living in Michigan), Scott helped his first person with Medicare in early 2010 and enjoyed the challenges that the market brings.

Scott runs his business with two goals in mind: (1) Providing the best possible service for his clients, and (2) supporting his family by working hard. Being an independent insurance agent means I work for you - I don't work to fulfill a quota or to help any one particular company. I'm an independent agent, which means that I can help you understand the pros and cons of any particular option. I work with you to help you shop the market and pick the best plan for your needs.

Hannah Shafran works in an administrative role and helps with marketing and social media.

Julie Kozarovich joined the team in 2020 and she provides much of the “back office” support that keeps StartMedicareRight.com running. Her role is to help with customer service issues, client communications, application tracking, newsletter compilation, and various general daily tasks.
